60Ticks (60ticks.com) is the software side of MEC Manufacturing, a small shop in the Tampa, Florida area.
This page explains what information we collect through this website and our programs, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name (optional), email address, topic and message, plus whether you
ticked the box asking for product updates.
- Purchases. Payment is handled by Gumroad.
We never see your card details. Gumroad sends us your email address and a sale number so we can email your
license key, and we keep a record of the email, key and sale date so we can re-send a lost key.
- Download counter. We count downloads. To avoid counting the same person twice, we keep a
one-way scrambled code made from the visitor’s IP address (not the address itself) for one hour, then delete it.
- Web host logs. Like every website, our hosting provider (GoDaddy) keeps standard server
logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and troubleshooting, under its own policy.
What we don’t do
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers on this site.
- We never sell, rent or trade your information.
- We don’t share it with anyone, except the services named on this page that are needed to run the site
and sell the software.
How we use your email address
- Contact form: to reply to you. We only send you product news if you tick the
“email me about new products and updates” box.
- Customers: to deliver your license key and help with your purchase. We may also send
customers occasional emails about updates and new 60Ticks products.
- Every update email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
Our programs
- 60Ticks programs do not send your personal information or your data to us. License keys are checked on
your own computer, offline.
- Schedule 2 Display’s optional weather panel sends the location you enter in its settings to
Open-Meteo, a free weather service, to get
the forecast. Nothing else is sent.
- Links inside the programs (such as “Buy” or “Visit 60ticks.com”) simply open this
website in your browser.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept as long as they are useful for helping you. Purchase and license records are kept so
we can re-send keys and for normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time;
we will, except for anything we are legally required to keep (such as sales records).
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from update emails using the link in any of them, or by asking us.
- Ask what we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, through the
contact form.
Children
This site and our software are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
