Hi, I’m Clint.
We’re a 15,000 square foot company working out of a 6,000 square foot building — in other words, we’ve outgrown the place and every corner is full. I’m a CAD designer, I’ve personally owned three waterjets and run and maintained five, and I’ve been writing software for the shops I work in for more than 15 years.
I don’t write software for the sake of it. Every 60Ticks program started with a job that was eating our time — typing punch cards into a computer, answering “what’s next?” all day, measuring cardboard templates with calipers, fighting waterjet software that didn’t work the way a CAD designer thinks. I built a fix, we used it on our own floor until it was right, and then I cleaned it up so other shops could use it too.
